Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed into the event grounds. They must be kept on a lead and unfortunately we cannot allow dogs into ANY of the marquees.
The nearest cash machines can be found marked on the map below alongside shops who have agreed to provide cashback (limits & charges may apply). We also have a number of traders providing cashback these are marked in the programme and the traders list online. (limits & charges may apply).

Yes, we try our best to accomodate to all needs and requirements, however some areas of the site may not be suitable for wheelchairs due to congestion or mud. The main traders area is hard boarded but there is a slight “lip”/ step into the marquee, should you require assistance then please signal one of the event stewards and they will be more than happy to help.
We also have a wheelchair accessible toilet available.
Yes, we have a bar marquee serving a selection of beers and spirits as well as a new Wine & Prosecco horsebox this year.
Unfortunatley we cannot allow alcohol to be brought onto the festival site, this will be enforced upon entry. Anyone deemed to be heavily intoxicated whilst trying to gain entry to the site will be refused entry.
No, you can’t bring a peddle bike into the event. There are several spaces to lock bikes up before the entrance to the event. Any bikes left unattended are left at the owners responsibility and Tynemouth Food Festival or English Heritage cannot be held responsible for loss or damage.
If you bought a ticket online you will recieve a confirmation email containing your tickets within 4 hours of ordering. There could be a slight delay in recieving this email as we manually check all orders before sending tickets.
Your “E-TICKET” must be exchanged for a wristband. This can be obtained on either Saturday 13th or Sunday 14th May at our box office next to the entrance to Tynemouth Priory. Please bring a printed copy of your tickets or a mobile phone with the email will also be fine. Once you have your wristband you will be able to enter the event through the “pre-paid” entrance allowing you to beat the queues.
No, unfortunately we do not have any on-site parking available therefore we recommend using public transport where possible (nearest metro is Tynemouth).
Spanish Battery car park will also be closed for the duration of the event making the closest public car parking Beaconsfield car park.
Yes, once you have your wristbands you can come and go from the event as you please. Your wristband must be securely fastened to your wrist and not torn or ripped in order to regain entry to the event.
